Final tribute to a departed staff and worthy alumnus

It is one thing to exist in this world, it’s another to truly live. Taiwo Omotayo ATINSOLA, though it was for a short while, you lived. You have touched us all both lecturers and students and without knowing it, we each formed a bond with you.
Anyone who got to spent time with you could tell that you were a brilliant man and this was evidenced with your First Class performance at undergraduate level and distinction in your Masters studies. Your student could testify that you were an excellent technologist and instructor. You were always ready to address any questions or problems the students had and you had a way of making anything seem interesting, which is a rare gift.
On Sunday Sept 6. 2015, Death dealt your loved ones a temporary blow after complications from the surgery at LUTH. As it is written in the Bible, “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heaven..” It’s time to say good bye till resurrection day.  You blessed us with your presence and your absence will be greatly felt.
On behalf of students who have lost a role model, we say Goodbye.
On behalf of lecturers who have lost a friend, we bid you Farewell.
On behalf of the Department of Systems Engineering, we say Adios.
We are honoured to have known you. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
NB: Funeral arrangements will be provided soon and a Service of Songs is planned to hold at the faculty in a few days.
